Everyone's Doin' the Winery Hop!

Want to know how to really have the time of your life in Napa? Well c’mon and hop to it! We’re talking about the Meritage Winery Hop Shuttle that will take you to some of the best wine tasting places in Napa. Once you check in at The Meritage, Guest Services will store your bags in time for you to hop aboard at 2:55 p.m. for a unique wine-tasting experience like none other.

The first stop is Patz & Hall, a 20-year-old winery that has been handcrafting small-lot and single-vineyard wines for over 20 years.  With an exclusive focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines, Patz & Hall uses grapes from Napa Valley, Russian River Valley, Mendocino County, Sonoma Coast and Santa Lucia Highlands.

The next stop on the hop is Falcor, a brand new winery with unparalleled perks for visitors. The tasting room has a clear and close-up view of the state-of-the-art winery founded by two long-time friends and business partners, Mike Bee and Jim Peterson.  Wine Spectator awarded Falcor’s 1999 Chardonnay as one of the highest rated Chardonnays of that vintage. Also, you must try the Syrah and the Cabernet Sauvignon.

Hoppers will “wine-up” at the Meritage’s own Trinitas Cellars, located inside the Estate Cave. The Trinitas Tasting Room represents two historic firsts in Napa Valley hospitality: the first wine tasting center at a resort and the first such tasting center in an underground facility. Benefit from your tasting with samplings of delicious artisan cheese or pick up a bottle to enjoy with dinner in Siena Restaurant. (Wine purchased from Trinitas can be enjoyed in Siena with no corkage fee.)

The Meritage Winery Hop is limited to just six guests, so reserve now! The Winery Hop is offered Monday through Friday and is $25.00 per guest, which includes all tasting fees. For your convenience, the cost for the Hop may be charged to your guest room. (Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled Hop will automatically be charged $25.00 per guest.)  Call (707) 251-1916 to make your reservation.

4:35 pm:            Shuttle departs for Trinitas Tasting room
