The Meritage Resort at Napa Announces April Opening for Estate Wine Bar

Tasting and Retail Sales of Leading Regional Wines in Unique Subterranean Space

Napa, Calif. -- The anticipated April 15th opening of The Estate Wine Bar will be a major milestone for The Meritage Resort at Napa. Not only is this 20,000 square foot cave one of the most ambitious subterranean projects ever conceived in the Napa Valley, it also represents a unique collaboration that will allow guests to taste their way through a diverse selection of California wines in a single location.

The handsomely appointed facility will offer tasting, education and retail sales from noted regional producers, including: Brutocao Cellars, Oakville Ranch, Schramsberg, Tobin James and Trinitas Cellars.

The Meritage Resort at Napa’s Estate Cave is among the few distinctive private entertaining venues available for parties and events in the Napa Valley. Featuring exquisite custom masonry, tile work, and wrought iron fixtures, The Estate Cave has the feeling of a world class wine estate storage facility, but offers many modern entertaining conveniences not generally available in a working wine cave.

In addition to the Wine Bar and event space, The Estate Cave houses the 9,000 square foot, full-service Spa Terra.

The Estate Wine Bar is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for sampling and retail sales of featured wines. Flight tastings will range from $9 to $19 dollars.
