January 2012 - Celebrate Winter in the Wine CountryTaste and Mingle at Welcome Wine Reception

Message from Michael Palmer

We are embarking on a historic year at The Meritage Resort and Spa. Since the resort opened in 2006, we have constantly strived to provide the best Napa experience for our guests. In 2007, we opened the 20,000 square foot Estate Cave, complete with Spa Terra, Trinitas Cellars and the Entertainment Cave. In late 2010, we broke ground on a $40 million expansion project that will open to guests in late April of this year.

This is a project that will help us better accommodate both leisure travelers and professional groups. The expansion will provide all guests and Napa residents with a unique set of amenities unrivaled in all of California. First, the expansion will add 165 guest rooms; each will have a private balcony or patio. This will bring our total to 320 guest rooms and suites, including eight executive and presidential suites. Second, we are adding a new ballroom and new outdoor event spaces, bringing our total event space to more than 50,000 square feet. This means that we can host larger events or host multiple small events at the same time, while still providing every guest the AAA Four Diamond service they have grown accustomed to. For those who enjoy exercising on the road, our new 1,655 square foot fitness center will be home to state-of-the-art equipment, free weights and floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto our private vineyards and brand new olive grove.

Finally, we are adding Crush Ultra Lounge. Crush Ultra Lounge will offer six luxury bowling lanes, a full bar, fireplace, great food and sports-themed entertainment. Next door to Crush Ultra-Lounge will be a small café where all guests can grab a quick cup of gourmet coffee or a bite to eat if they don’t have time to enjoy one of Chef Mike Collins’ creations at Siena or inside Crush Ultra Lounge.

We are looking forward to big things this year and most importantly, we are eager to provide you with a memorable trip to Napa. From spa treatments to wine tasting and bowling or just dining on scrumptious food, remember The Meritage Resort and Spa. We Are Napa!
