Napa Valley Wine TastingIn The Heart of The EarthTrintas Tasting Room Located inside the Estate Cave, the Trinitas Tasting Room represents two historic “firsts” in Napa Valley hospitality: the first wine tasting center at a resort, and the first such tasting center in an underground facility. The cave itself took 18 months to bore, plumb and construct and houses Spa Terra – the only luxury spa in the US located in a cave, an Entertainment Cave seating up to 240 guests and the Trinitas Tasting Room. Latest Releases and Reviews2007 Trinitas Meritage The flagship red starts with explosive red fruit and black cherry on the nose followed by cola berry, chocolate, smoke, and anise. A dynamic and deeply aromatic nose of red apple, fresh strawberry, sweet cherry, soft leather, subtle cigar box, soft cinnamon, mushroom, earth, truffle and a tender rush of Carneros-classic gunpowder. This is another deeply impressive Pinot Noir from Carneros. This is a bright wine that is a great food companion, but we loved sipping it on its own.” | ![]() |
